I didn't consider a 1/2" bar because I imagine myself standing on the end of 40", two hours from help. I have a 1/2" x 20" breaker bar at home for auto use but want something more enduring for the E350. One day I hope to have Alcoa alloy wheels which will require more torque yet to break loose.
I am confused as to what socket to get, 7/8, or 22mm. 7/8 is a bit larger. I want best socket-to-nut contact.
THIS pivoting 3/4" breaker bar will make a great gift from my two sons. At 39" long, it will be a tight fit inside my dinette bench unless placed at an angle. I have to stop at an Autozone to place my order in person because of my gift card..
HERE is a 3/4" x 12" extension for $9.49. I just ordered one.
