OK....I found the documentation that references this in my manual. It is actually an option offered by RVP (RV Products) AIRSCEL who is the manufacturer of my AC units. The item is called 'RV Products Roof Top Air Conditioner Mounted Solar Battery Maintenance System". Here's a description right out of the manual: "The RV Products roof top air conditioner mounted solar powered battery maintenance system provides a single five (5) watt solar panel. The solar panel will generate enough power to keep your vehicle battery at its last operated charge value during non-usage periods."
