I'm a bit more conservative and budget ~$800.00/yr.
$300/yr oil change
400/yr amortized tires (7 year change)
$50.00/yr amortized trans service (4 year change)
$50.00 yr chassis service
I should probably add in a coolant change but this is close enough.
Of these only the oil change would be higher than a gas coach which would be closer to $200,00.
Repairs and upgrades I take as unbudgeted items and tackle on an as needed basis.
Let's face it, these things take some $$$ and as long as I'm willing to pay the toll I'll continue to enjoy the experience. If/when the costs become burdensome, we'll go back to a TT or find a different past time.
