My load is heavy. 38ft DP with 32ft trailer with a full size 3200lb car, scooter, generator, tools, etc. 325 Cummins and Allison 6spd. In the summer at highway speeds it stays around 180 all the time by the factory guage. Even on the longest, steepest, grade around here (I-77 Fancy Gap VA) it has never gone over 200.....don't run much lower not towing. I change the fluid and filter every year.
