Are you thinking of something like Consumer's Union and their auto reports? There isn't any such publication or data base, possibly because of the large number of models, manufacturers and floor plans, along with changes made during the model years. You can check NADA's book for a listing of manufacturers and models. Comparing estimated values will give you a basis for determining how pricey the rigs were when new and how they compare to other rigs of the same vintage. Keep in mind the suggested values are estimated by using a depreciation scale and are not from actual sales as with automobiles.
Finally, you could check with PPL's web site for used sales. They show the actual price a rig sold for. By comparing one brand and/or model with others, you can get an idea of what model or brand had more problems. In your case, look at the diesel Class A motorhomes sold and focus on the price range you are interested in.
