Nope, nothing wrong with the coach. I too have been towing for a couple of decades now. Can't speak for whatever grade Fancy Gap is but here in the west I am routinely passing coaches going up both passes that I mentioned but not @ 55 MPH and I am sitting at 49k pounds combined weight.
