I would have a hard time giving you exact number of feet, but he was pulled probably 2-3 feet onto the shoulder and my driver side tires were on the white line at least. One variable that may have had a negative effect on the trooper is that I have fairly aggressive tread on my Jeep tires for 4 wheeling and they are noisy. I don't know but the amount of noise off the tires may have given him a false impression of how close I was.
