That is a heavy toad and may exceed your weight rating. I have had nothing but gas. Well there was that 4 cylinder diesel LaSharo. I took my 2005, 2010,2012, 2015 all over the Rockies and four the most part I was in the 40 mph range. It roared but did well. I was towing a Smart Car however which weighs 1700 lbs. I do tow a Grnad Cherokee from time to time but when heading west it is the Smart Car for weight in mountains and parking in LA and just general ease of towing. Our 2016 Winnebago Suncruiser 38Q is great. 6 speed tranny is great improvement. Towed the Grand over the mountains in Tennessee that have some steep grades just not as long as Rockies. It handled them well. The Grand is about 4,000lbs. 2004. I have been fine with gas and go anywhere but have not had the need to tow heavy. If your hitch will handle it you can go but at times it will be slow and you may wish to unhook and drive on the very highest and longest grades but slide into slow lanes and sit back and listen to the fuel sucking through.
