Here's a few things to look for:
- Crowned, one piece, fiberglass roof.
- 12 volt heated tanks so you can camp in cold temperatures without hookups ... either intentionally, or unexpectedly.
- Tank emptying valves up high off the ground and in an enclosed cabinet.
- E450 chassis .... even on a small Class C that normally would be built on an E350 chassis.
- Room for double coach batteries.
- Built in generator installed well enough to be able to actually use for hours if ever needed, both noise-wise and floor vibration-wise.
- Steel lined wheel wells so a blowout doesn't damage the coach.
- Steel interior cabinet drawer slides.
- Gravity locks on interior cabinet drawers.
- Large as possible tanks.
- Spare tire.
- Built in roof ladder.
- Built in privacy curtains for the cabover bed area, cab area, and any other bed area(s).
- Cabover bed access ladder with wide rungs so as to not hurt your feet.
- Engine start boost switch.
- LED coach lighting.
- Automatic coach step.
- Heated and power activated cab mirrors.
- Built in fresh water filter.
- Variable speed, reversible, temperature controlled roof fan.
- Installed covers over the main roof vent covers.
- Properly vented propane refrigerator.
- A water pump that's accessible.
