IF, repeat IF you are mechanical and have the time, you can find a DP in your price range. Set aside another $5K or so for unexpected issues plus any issue you identify (such as aged tires). If this doesn't interest you, RUN, FOREST, RUN.
To me Monaco doesn't really identify too much-- like saying Ford or Chevy. They made a range of coaches from entry level to high end. High end Monacos, mid to higher end Country Coaches, Foretravels would all be on my short list.
