So far, you have been given all the wrong answers (except maybe one which hinted at it). If you have a budget of 20K, you need to purchase a coach for about $12 to $15K. You will need 5K or more to put it in normal usable condition. There was a survey done here many years back. The average dollar investment to get a used coach in working dependable order was around $8K in addition to the purchase price! If you are looking at virtually any used coach built on a production line, you will invest at least 5 grand to make it usable. Do not be deceived. This is the true reality of owning a motorhome. In the years you are thinking, tires alone are over 3 grand. A 5 year old coach, its a different story, but between 5 and 10 years, the maintenance cost goes up considerably.
