So I read/heard: Make sure to have money saved for regular maintenance and unexpected repairs. Anyone care to share or advise or suggest what they set aside (or what to set aside)
or keep aside for the above events?
* I understand some have Diesels some have Gassers, some have Luxury class A's some have Entry level and mid level. Pls don't make it to complicated and overthink the question. I'd be happy if you can just distinguish between Diesel and Gasser and throw out a ball park figure. That's doable right? Lol. Like always, thanks for sharing.
I doubt anyone could give you a defined answer because of age of RV;;size of Rv;; engine type;; chassis Type and miles travelled per year and number of days the RV gets used
One small example is I only go 4K miles per year;MH takes 26 quarts of oil and large filter Cost$150 and I do it myself every 3 years
so again example cost me $50 per year;; some people change every year so there cost $150 and if U get a shop around $300
its really hard because everyones circumstance and ideas are different;
In the last 7 years I looked at all my maintenance costs; tires replaced;all battery,s; toilet seals;; air brake filter; engine air filter ;wiper blades; Cummins regen and computer updates; windshield removed and resealed ;gen set service(once) hardly use it ; aquahot
service (once) and I spent around $8300 or $1185 per year
