Some of the newer coaches are all electric no aqua hot, or propane hot water.
Totally dependent upon the 50 amp cord, or the gen /set.

Tom, I've never heard of a coach without a secondary heating system besides electric. We have electric heated flooring and heat pumps but also the diesel fired furnace that also heats the water tank (which is electric also).
I never wanted propane as it would require a secondary fuel source. Why have propane when you have diesel already?
There is a new requirement called 'Tier four' that our coach manufacturer is incorporating into the new 2018 coaches. I know one item is a smaller generator. We have a 20K generator and now the new ones have 12K Onan. The electric house battery system is super powerful (called 'Volta').
