I actually asked my kids what they wanted to do with ours and what the criteria was going to be. Told them there were no rules except whatever we want (It's more of just a conversation starter). I was going to be fine with just entering the state so there wouldn't be any blank states between others, but they wanted it to be if we stayed the night in that state. For awhile we had some island states surrounded by white, but recently we found ourselves actually slowing down our travels just to camp in a state JUST so we can put on a sticker. ;)
