When to throw in the towel on an older motorhome

It has been my experience that For most RV's this kind of cost avoidance is only possible if you can perform most repairs/modifications yourself. This goes for all RV's old and new IMHO. Having repair abilities makes the ownership experience far more sustainable over the long run...
