When to throw in the towel on an older motorhome

A couple things I learned on here:

Either be handy or have a lot of money

There are two types of rv, those that have leaked ad those that will leak

I was also told to buy a used FW as my first and after some of my mistakes I'm glad I did. It was so much easier say oops or oh well with a $10,000 rig vs a $40,000 or $50,000 rig
