IMO it's time to sell it when you outgrow it and can afford a better RV, or, you're just sick and tired of dealing with it because it's too unreliable and worn out. Some people look at maintenance/repairs as a challenge or an opportunity to learn something new, or a way to save money over buying a newer unit. Others can't buy the RV they want and are willing to build/customize their own. Others just don't want to be bothered and want things as simple as possible. There is no wrong answer. Only what's right for you.
