I agree there is a blurry area B+ TO C but it has to do with the cut of the chassis and our dealer defined it by saying there is no overhead bunk or large storage above the cab in a B+.
There isn't anything "blurry" about it except for marketing people that have their own motives. If an RV chassis started out as a van, it is a class B. If it didn't, it is not a class B according to longstanding definitions of RV classes by the RVIA. Hence the name of this forum.
We've had our Class B 12 years and put 138,000 miles on it so not much new to know for us. We love its flexibility, fuel conservation, drive-ability, etc, etc. we live in a moderate house and have never had the urge to take it along with us.
Class Bs are not for everyone obviously but for those of us who are into traveling vs lugging everything along, we love our Class Bs.
As far as activity on this forum, it has dropped considerably. I think a big part of it is our fascination with smart phones that are not as good of a vehicle for RV.net as a laptop or desktop computer. You could not pry my smart phone away from me, but neither will I give up my laptop for reasons like it's superiority for some of my uses of technology (like looking at my photos in a reasonable size).
As far as the suggestion that Class B owners have moved to FB, much of the world has moved to FB. I'm surprised some upstart hasn't come up with a competing social media platform that isn't as annoying as FB has become. It's only a matter of time. At least on RV.net, political posts are banned although FB's annoyances go way past politics in the matter of being user friendly.
