I think the main problem with a Class B is that most do not have generators. That and sometimes just a small confined toilet area or no toilet at all. The prices for B's are for the most part more expensive than C's. Sometimes much more expensive for a lot less. The only B that I would ever consider is one that had a full bathroom and generator. That is what, I think, makes the BT Cruiser and similar types so popular.
Scratching my head on this. All my Class B's have had generators and complete bath facilities, although they were small and usually a wet bath. You pay a price for small, lighter weight, better MPG, handling, etc so you're right -- Class B's can be expensive compared to similarly equipped Class C's although there's typically a BIG difference in quality.
Look at any of the Class B's on the market today any you'll find they have all the same options as a Class C or A. Maybe you're confusing van conversions with Class B's?
I'm confused myself. Isn't a Van considered a Class B and something like a BT Cruiser a Class B+? Very few Van motor homes have generators and most have only a small toilet area if any. That is what I was referring to.
