I don't think not having a ladder is a cost issue. How much could it actually cost after all when compared to a $200,000 mh? However, it may have a big impact on liability. Someone gets up on the roof and while getting down they fall and sue. Claim the ladder encouraged them to get on the roof, or the ladder was a bad design or otherwise faulty. I don't feel comfortable using the ladder on the back of my mh but is is better than using a extension ladder.
