Where have all the ladders gone?
Went to the Houston RV show last week. Of the 3 DPs we narrowed it down to, only 1 has a ladder. And no, you cannot order one as an option. Granted, they were enty level but still over $200,000. Ho...

As a former insurance adjuster from years back, I can tell you ladders are huge liability issues. You are probably correct. The MH manufacturers probably figured it's better to leave the ladder off which leaves the owner to figure out a way to get on the roof and if they fall they sue whomever built the ladder they did use. But I can see a good (or sleazy) lawyer going after the MH builder and claiming their client would not have been on the portable ladder had it not been for the MH not having a fixed ladder and therefore it's still their fault.
I suspect many of us have more lbs on us than the factory attached ladders were certified for anyway. :S
