Our present coach has rails and a strong ladder built into the rear cap, and I wouldn't be without it now. I totally agree. For me an attached ladder is a must. My Entegra Anthem came with no ladder and I paid to have one added. Oddly, the lees expensive Entegra Aspire comes with a ladder.
The problem with a portable ladder is that it can slide away as you go on or off the roof. It can fall back, or sideways. I want my ladder screwed in place for safety.
