Where is my spare tire?
I bought a used Newmar Mountainaire gas model 2003. LOVE it but have not used it yet because it is winter here. Wondering WHERE IS MY SPARE TIRE LOCATED. I think the model is 3506 or 3605. Thanks ...

In my 1999 Mountain Aire, there is a spare stored in a tray underneath behind the "bumper". The tray slides out to the rear so that you can get to the REALLY HEAVY tire and rim. The release for the slide lock is a cable pull in the electrical or wet bay, I forget exactly which one. If you have a spare, that is most likely where it is.
Newmar dropped this design after just a few years. I believe the 1999(maybe 1998) and 2000 models are the only ones (MA Gas models) that had this rear bumper mounted tray for the spare tire. Doug
