This isn't too hard to solve unless money is extremely tight. The macerator pump is workable but it is something that would have to be toted along, and put in its own plastic tub for obvious reasons. It also needs 20 amps of 12 volt power, so either it needs a pair of jumper cables so it can run from another battery, or one would need a "poop battery" to bring along to run the pump. Some "B"s like the Travato that pump the grey tank can't really be used with a macerator pump.
However, a macerator pump is versatile. You can empty the tanks in a toilet, in a clean-out, and you can do it even if the dump place is uphill and up to 100 feet away. If staying at the friend's driveway quite option, it might be an idea to have the pump and battery (with a trickle charger) remain at the friend's house so it isn't taking up space.
Of course, the cheaper solution is finding a nearby dump station, which is a lot cheaper and less time wasted than using a pump.
