I would opt for the C7 CAT. My experience with the small Cummins has not been good on my motorhome and my farm machinery. The design is good but the problems always come back to poor quality control of the components made in their Brazilian factory. If you get a good one they are good but if you get a bad one it gets very expensive.:)
