- okgcExplorerEarlier this year a family member was in a Hospice for four months. During that time he had two 32" Vizio TVs break. One that was brand new lasted almost one week. Dont believe Vizio really builds anything, only assembles components from others.
I just bought a 50" Toshiba LED LCD from Amazon. Great picture Great Price. - mci7ExplorerMany opinions, After a nice Sony LCD 26" flat screen and due to the heat it put off was concerned about the head liner damage from the heat, killing batteries, I went with the Samsung 32" Smart TV, LED, much lower current draw and no heat rediated, so love it.
What ever you like
Dave M - Bill_SatelliteExplorer III liked my first Vizio so much I bought a second even though the TV it replaced did not need replacing. I move that one to the outside bay and I am about to replace that one in the outside bay with a 32" Vizio.
I do understand that the Samsung units are very good as well but the Vizio has been an excellent choice for me. - Big_KatunaExplorer IIWell, call me stupid but I replaced all my tvs and I shopped by SIZE.
All of them have pretty good pictures. I found tvs that fit the WIDTH of the existing openings so all I had to do was make spacers for the top and/or bottom.
The front had a 27" tube tv and I found a Westinghouse 32 thin line with rear facing speakers that fit perfectly. Don't care about the speakers as it's wired thru the surround sound. Same with the back. Outside, where size was not an issue, I have to admit I went with a Sony as it has a kicka$$ bright picture. - Sully2Explorer3 Vizio's and looking for more
- amandasgrammaExplorerWe have 2 Vizios --- one in the house for 7 yrs and another in the 5th wheel for 4 yrs....NEITHER has caused any problems.......NONE..
- Dale_TravelingExplorer IIAnother Vizio owner. 32" replaced the 28" analog three years and 35,000 miles ago. Fit outside the original frame and between the two cabinets doors over the driver and passenger positions with an inch to spare.
Regardless of brand you may favor get the biggest, highest resolution, most features you can afford. Display models are a good deal as long as the warranty starts the da you take it home. Also if you are a satellite subscriber you'll need an HDMI cable to view the HD channels. Same for a DVD/Blue Ray player. - Old-BiscuitExplorer III

By performs do you mean that it turns on and displays a picture?
If you are at all concerned with picture quality then you you get what you pay for.
Clear, crisp picture....good vibrate colors.....reliable.
YEP for me...performs great.
It's just a dang TV after all. - OpenRangePullenExplorerI use 1080P LED Vizio's in my RV, 26" in the Bedroom, 50" in the Main area, and a 32" in the Bunk house. All very light weight and have a very little power draw. Viewing angle isn't to good though.
