This is correct. Cheap TV's may work great in the house, but remember this TV is going to get beat pretty bad bouncing around in a motorhome. That requires a quality built TV.
6 yrs. of FT travel (moving every week/2 weeks not parked some place for months on end) in 5th wheel and guess what.......My 2 Vizios still work great. Guess they ARE quality built. - msmith1199Explorer II

Have a 2001 Kountry Star DP. Still have the original TV's (living room and bedroom). Both big and heavy, neither is digital. Both still work but thinking of upgrading to a newer flat screen.
Wondering what others have, how long you've had it, and would you buy it again???
We installed a Best Buy Dynex LCD, some time ago and no problems so far with it or the ones we have at home. The newer LED models are lighter and thinner and we have a Westinghouse in the bedroom. It's been good also, except for the remote and we have since bought a $5 generic remote. We do notice that the W is quick to channel scan and the D takes forever. - Sully2Explorer

I see that you dont know what your talking about.... - loulou57ExplorerWe have replaced "all" our telly's within the last year. Everyone of them are various sizes of Samsung LED Smart Tv's.
We love them. We bought keyboards for them and find one of the best features is that as one of the granddaughters calls it...her little leg savers. She can look up on the telly anything she wants or play games and it saves her legs having to run and do it on the PC downstairs. - John_S_Explorer IIWe replaced with samsung. FT told us either samsung or Vizeo as they had internal steel mounting screw holes. Others mounted intro plastic. They used to use sony and others till they had failures.

- accsysExplorerWe just had a Samsung UN40H5500 installed in our coach and we love it. It is only 2" thick and has a fantastic 1080p picture. We did also install a Samsung HWF-450 Soundbar to go with it as all of these new TVs have the speakers in the back which doesn't make for good sound when enclosed in a box!

- imgoin4itExplorerI just replaced the original 26" (?) TV in the front with a 32" Samsung. It fit without modifying the cabinet. I put a 24" Visio in the bedroom. Took out old TV and had a door made to match the cabinets, mounted the new TV to the door which now opens on a piano hinge. The Visio is easier to add a channel for Sat TV than the Samsung, but I think the Samsung is better.
- darsbenExplorer IIYou might want to make sure the unit you buy is has an external 12 volt transformer. That way you can run it off your battery sans use of a inverter.
Best buys 19 inch insignia does as do others. It might be a beneficial thing if you dry camp
