I haven't been impressed by the over all quality of Coachman for a number of years and we've owned 3 motorhomes that were or ended up being Coachmen products. The Coachmen products we owned were OK for used RV's but buying new we didn't. Remember Coachmen is now part of Forest River which is part of Berkshire Hathaway, Warren Buffet's investment group which is good. However we have a good friend who is not happy at all with his Forest River Georgetown's fiberglass finish after four years. Fleetwood is not the Fleetwood of 5 Years ago, it's now owned also by an investment group which also owns Monaco/Holiday Rambler which are all built under one umbrella now. There aren't many choices now in manufacturers out there. A look at two "old time" same management manufacturers wouldn't hurt, Winnebago and Tiffin both have some well thought out gas Class A motorhomes. But keep in mind no motorhome is going to be perfect when on the dealers lot, The PDI is very important as is dealer service support!
