Whirlpool Gold Error Code 888 888
Has anyone ever encountered Code 888 888 on their side by side Whirlpool Fridge ? Talked to Whirlpool and Newmar and no help, says they have never heard of this, so a service call has been scheduled...

A little update ! Had a service call from Whirlpool last week. Tech comes out and tried to reset by the unplug method to no avail. He ordered both boards, one in the dispenser door and the one in the back of fridge just to make sure he had them both. The next morning I go to the coach and it's working properly and making ice as it should, call whirlpool back and tell them to hold on ordering parts ! Yep ,you've got it , the next morning it's not working so I call them back and have them order the parts! To be continued .....:h
And the saga continues... Get a call from the Whirlpool service center and they informed me the part number W10162500 has been discontinued. Seems like it shouldn't have taken 3 wks. to find that out! Then they told me to call Whirlpool.:h
