That right there is why few understand Cali DMV law, you do a search for this about Cali and you will find arguments on many forums about what the law says about double/triple tow in Cali.
But when I read all other states about double/triple tow its in plain simple to read and understand even for a 5th grader, so much bureaucrat in Cali that has to add confusing to all their laws, even the new gun laws have people upset there..
You should also see what the truckers forums have to say about the CDL laws in Cali, many won't drive there anymore.
