Who Has Purchased A New MH Out Of State ?

Since you are from California, you really need to get very clear instructions from the Califorina DMV on how to license a vehicle purchased in another State. There was a case in these forums where a member (Believe his name was Lee Caldwell) bought a motorhome in Colorado and brought it into California and he could not license it in California. Had something to do with the emissions certifications and not enough mileage when brought into the state. He wound up having to return the motorhome to Colorado. I believe they require stickers under the hood stating the unit meets Calif regs. If the unit had over certain miles, then the sticker requirement could be waived.
