no I drive a school bus and driving for fun of it I dont think I would be happy with anything longer. Watched a guy almost drive into tree this past weekend trying to make a car turn. to us shorter is better.

a diesel drop for the current rv, but wife wont let me! Looked for a diesel for months and the 2 I found were 1 too short for wife, 2 had been lived in and was trashy dirty too many suspect parts as a result (bathroom floors, dinette removed and replaced by table chairs, etc). Both thought they were gold items also!

Stability of short DP models is a problem that caused them to go away. So much weight aft and nothing forward to counteract it. Read a pretty good discussion on one of the forums not too long ago.

A 30 ft gas will have 362 HP, a 30 ft DP if you can find one may have 275 to 300 HP and will weight much more than the gas MH. It is HP/WT that will determine your performance. Only the larger DP's will have 400-500 HP.
want about a 30 ft size, like the v10 types. I know the diesels are not race cars neither are the v10's but the diesel will produce more power longer.
