Class As seem to get a bad rap because of no airbags. There was just a post by someone who was in a serious accident. He and his wife were not injured although the poor guy who pulled out in front of their class A died. In a Class A, you are generally above the point of impact and between the front chassis cross member and the very large engine, you are riding atop a serious battering ram that is unlikely to crush much. If you turn one over, I don't think it matters what type of RV you are in, the outcome is going to be bad. If you are a do-it-yourselfer, changing oil in a Class A is a piece of cake...no jacks needed.
