Why a class A gas over class C?

Saw a Winnie (Forza?) today with that option. Poorly designed in that particular coach because even in the raised position it left only about 5'-6" of headroom in the cockpit area. With the front door it meant even average height occupants have to duck going in and out.
I've seen plenty of others without that problem as well, but I don't remember the models.
