I don't know much about the chassis suppliers but I'm guessing the chassis aren't built by Ford/GM/ or Ram and maybe that has something to do with it.

Yep, noisy and more so than gas.
Also, they all seem underpowered and with a smaller block size.
I once thought that the WH UFO chassis would be the norm and whereas one could have a gasoline powered pusher. Not many left from this era and for whatever reason, it never caught on with the rest.
