I carry mine as a matter of convenience and a type of insurance.
I think about being some place where I don't have cell connection with which to call a road service. I firmly believe that if I carry that which may fail, it will never fail... it's always the thing I didn't expect that fails.
As a 67 yr old, small framed woman, I'm still able, thankfully, to change a tire.
