I debated the idea of the spare. Then I had a flat (at home thankfully) and was glad I had it. I dont carry any of the tire changing equipment, I have AAA for that and/or my fabulous mechanic who is 5 blocks away. He does check the spare when I do a full checkup before a trip. Besides, where else would I put this?
