LMAO....{Chuckle, giggle, snort} :B
The OP poster posted the question in the B forum, where most of us drive light weight camping vans.
But it seems most of the replies have been from people who are towing trailers or driving Class A's or C's.
I certainly can understand the importance of carrying spares when towing a trailer. Trailer tires are notorious for blowouts.
And while C's and A's also have flats, I wonder how many of the owners of those coaches could change a tire on them - especially an inside dually?
How many owners of Class A's could single handedly jack up their coach, get the tire off the hub, and replace it with inflated one? Keeping in mind that a Class A tire and rim will easily weigh over a hundred pounds.
How many Class C owners could change a rear tire? How many Class C's even come with a jack strong enough to lift a Class C?
My guess it whether you carry a spare or not, in most cases (excepting trailers and Class B's), you'll need help changing the tire, probably from roadside assistance.
You might be able to change a tire on your car, but chances are you would need help (and special tools) to do it on a Class A or Class C - even if you "know which end of a lug wrench to hold."
