I have a class C. I have two 20,000lb hydraulic jacks always. While I don't particularly want to, if absolutely necessary I could change my own tire.
However, my tires are 16.5. If I blow a tire on the road, regardless of the availability of someone to actually change the tire, if I don't have a tire at the ready, I'm going to be stuck for at least 24 hours. 80lbs less in stuff is well worth 24 hours of my life.
