Diesel does not have any of that junk.

Instead you have EGR filters, Oil coolers, very sensitive prone to failure fuel injectors which rely on both clean oil and filtered radiator fluid, DEF and other federally mandated emission equipment, turbos that can fail when not properly managed, head gaskets that fail when erg/exhaust temps get too high when climbing steep grades while towing, not to mention fuel injection control modules that can be very sensitive when both of the massive and expensive engine batteries begin to fail.
I have both diesel and gas as well, love both but there are trade offs.
All those parts you mentioned are on gasoline engines also with the exception of DEF on new diesel engines. Gasoline engine have a lot more moving parts then a straight six cylinder diesel engine. That is why a gasoline engine does not last as long as a diesel. I do agree that gasoline engines are much better then they used to be. It used to be that at around one hundred thousand miles a gasoline engine was pretty well worn out. Now it is nothing unusual to see 150K miles on a gasoline engine, but not much more with out an over haul. And that is where diesel engines excel going way over three hundred thousand miles without any problems.
I just hit 60K miles on my Cat engine and it is barely now breaking in to where it has all kinds of power and running its best.
So to compare one with the other is like comparing apples to oranges. Very different!
And the ride of the diesel alone is worth having a diesel over a gasoline motor home. JMHO!
