It's in my signature. But I think you'll find it common with other makes that the problems on new units are very few. - My_RoadtrekExplorer

Stricter moderation certainly does not encourage participation. I grow weary of the thought police on some of them. If you want to check out a dead forum, go over to iRV2. It's basically now a class A only club, and most of the posts are people complaining they bought junk that the manufacturer or dealer won't stand behind (of course, the same people did zero research before they bought). Sad really.
With my B, I bought new and have had zero problems or warranty claims. It's fairly common with B's. So there isn't alot to talk about unless you are looking for a new rig, or modding one you have, or are buying new gear to outfit it.
Frankly, there is a much better Class B forum out there that is fairly well behaved and has a combo of new and old tech, high budget and low budget. I find it quite entertaining and suggest folks check it out. www.classbforum.com
But the other forum has a pretty small number of people posting to it, pretty easy to
moderate.
You weren't here when this forum was really busy. Even Marko got his start here.
Didn't take long for this thread to take the op's post off topic. Not everyone likes to post something and then see their thread go off in another direction. I know I don't, but that's probably the reason I haven't posted here much in the last couple of years. - ol__grouchExplorerI started to fire my B up today but it was dead. Then I noticed the backup camera was still on. And had been for the last 4 weeks or so. Oops! My '89 stays pretty warm. It just doesn't like to cool down. It makes me glad the roof a/c will freeze you out.
- drsoloNomadMost of the lists I am on that were strictly regulated and kept on topic died off. The ones I am on that let off topic topics roll on are pretty healthy.
I have a 1992 conversion van that I converted into an RVan. While at a campground I had problems with my overhead Coleman AC/heater and the "fixer" who came to the campground fixed the wiring that was rusted from a leak around the outside port. He told me my van was much better insulated than the big rigs all around me.
So I fled Wisconsin and am here hiding out in Florida for the worst of the cold, snow and ice. - modomotExplorerThis is something I have been wondering about also. I had looked for an active B forum and this seemed to be the most active one I could find. Just not that much going on.
Tom - DavyddExplorerI am a member and active on a lot of diverse message boards. They are all down and dwindling. I think it is Facebook groups that have done it. To me it is way better than Yahoo groups and Facebook is getting more robust in its capabilities especially with smartphone use. The day of the independent message boards is dying. I've seen many forum platforms come and go for over 30 years. This type of messaging board came popular around 2000. Before that it was AOL, Compuserve and Usenet in that descending order. If anything hastens RV.net's demise it will be its antiquated messaging software.

I agree that RV.net's messaging software is "quaint" but I certainly don't consider Facebook an improvement. Facebook is all about Facebook, and fails the user friendliness test.
But we live in an ever changing technical world and new players will continue to pop up. - CSGExplorerI've observed the same thing as you guys. My forum's software is quaint too and there's also a lot of competition for the same readership. I don't like FB and don't participate on it. I prefer these types of boards.
