Why spotlights on older Class A'?
My 1987 has a remote controlled spot light up top ( works great, it is bright! ). But why? Did they serve a purpose? If so, why don't the new ones I see, have one? Was it a fad? I seem to only notice ...

There have been times that I really would like to have such a spot light overhead when travelling down dark, unfamiliar campground roads. I think it would do wonders to help spot any low hanging branches. I've seen them on newer, high end, rigs. I think it could also be handy to have one pointed toward the back when backing into dark campsites.
I suspect that in my younger days, my eyes wouldn't have needed the extra photons, but as my eyes age, they can use all they help they can get! LOL :)
I'd like to install one or two on my rig, but it's way down on the "To Do List" at this time.
