Why spotlights on older Class A'?
My 1987 has a remote controlled spot light up top ( works great, it is bright! ). But why? Did they serve a purpose? If so, why don't the new ones I see, have one? Was it a fad? I seem to only notice ...

While I don't use mine often, it has been very handy the few times that I have had to arrive late at a campground. It does flood or spot and turns fast or slow so I can get pretty much whatever view I need. I won't miss it if my new coach doesn't have one (as if I will ever be able to get another!) but I have used mine from time to time.
