Why would anyone want an outside TV?

All the As that most dealers have in stock new and used have ann outside TV. I do not understand why anyone would watch TV outside (other than a baseball or football game).
If the weather is nice outside I would rather take the dogs for a walk or do some kind of physical activity such as horse shoes. I can understand why a outside shower is useful and a outside stove are nice but I prefer a charcoal grill. But sitting outside watching TV seems useless, heck I would rather people watch (watching people walk by).

Outside TVs must be popular because almost every A that I see has one but I was wondering if many people on this forum have a outside TV and if you do, do you enjoy having it?

Well, I've not read all the answers but, this is one of those things that, like many options and additional features on motor homes in general, just because you, or a few don't like a TV on the outside of a M/H, doesn't mean that everyone hates them or, doesn't use them. I'm sure that there's been a few answers that talked about football games or, NASCAR races or, maybe even something as simple as a gathering of RV friends to sit around on a nice evening and WATCH A MOVIE!!!

We have used ours quite a few times. There's all kinds of variables in reasons and times when and why we do. And NO, WE DON'T BOTHER NEIGBORS with it being too loud or obnoxious. If, we're somewhat close to other campers, and we still would like to use the outside TV, we'll be a bit closer to it, and the volume will be down so that it's just us that can hear it.

This another one of those things that some folks weren't born with, COMMON SENSE. If we even think that we'd bother some other camper in any way, we don't use it. It's not that important. It's just an option and a variable for entertainment. No one says you HAVE TO use it.
