When you get to the point in life the kids are raised, you've hiked every trail, you've ridden ever bicycle, you've swam in every lake and river its time to just sit down and relax and enjoy a little time of "immobility"!
Some folks enjoy watching a good sports game on the television, someone else might enjoy a soap opera, and then .... someone else might enjoy old Star Trek reruns...
Bite my head off if you want, it won't be the first time on these forums for posting this photo! (But I'm enjoying my camping experience .... in style!)
We are in the point of our lives when kids left, but we still did not hike all the trails in our area (we do have nice state parks on Oakland/Berkeley hills)
Would probably take 1000 years to hike most of trails in Sierra.
Almost 30 years of RVing about `10 RV and none of them had working TV.
Occasionally when we camp in fall and it gets dark at 6 PM, we take couple of DVD and play them on laptop.
