Wow, I missed this thread because I was camping this weekend. 12 pages in a hurry. I don't think this is a class warfare issue. I've camped in my 15 year old PUP next to a 40' Class A and had great conversations.
Why do I want an outside TV? Football, football, and football. We don't have a TV in our PUP and I rarely miss it but I did have to seek out a sports bar to watch my team last weekend. Would have loved to sit by the fire and watch outside. And when I was in college, I wondered why all those old folks set up in the parking lot in their RVs two days before gameday. I wouldn't mind being one of those folks one day and TV go with pregame tailgating would be nice.
I've missed many a pretty fall day watching college football. Judge me if you must but I would love to combine two favorite hobbies.
