Will RG6 cable carry the HDTV signal to my new TV?

X2 techwriter. My son-in-law installs high speed internet and high def tv for Comcast. They use RG 6 from the pole. Now to your TV From receiver use an HDMI cable if possible.

P.S. He often laughs at people who argue cable vs satellite -- cable IS satellite, that's how they get their signal! Every major city has a field of them somewhere!
