My Georgetown owners manual says "Do NOT walk around on the roof" - period, no weight limits, no "waht ifs". The original owners, from whom we bought the rig, included a vehicle cover in the sale. The only way to install it is for someone to spend a lot of time walking on the roof.
We haven't used it in the 4 years we've owned the rig. I've been up there once - scared me enough not to do it again. That was before I read the manual. The rig has a rubber roof, which might explain the embargo.
