As others have stated, please do not use windshield washer fluid. For just a little more use the product that's designed for this - RV antifreeze. it's non poisonous, and eco and septic friendly.
I have never put RV antifreeze or any other antifreeze in my fresh water tank. I have always had or put on a winterizing fitting so I could draw antifreeze directly from the jug.

I agree. I don't put anything in my black or grey. I just make sure they are empty. I was merely saying that if you chose to do so use the correct product. RV antifreeze is potable and thereby not harmful to beneficial bacteria in a septic system. And no I don't put much worse in my black or grey. Waste and TP. That's it.
