The goal is to be able to operate with a 2K Honda generator. I have an 11K roof unit, not a power saver that will not operate off the Honda in hot humid conditions even though I installed a soft start capacitor. Works well up to about 90°.
An 11K power saver is just pass the limits of the Honda and will not be dependable.
The new Atwood?? is claimed to operate on a 2000 watt generator under most conditions. The little Honda is not a 2000 watt generator! And Atwood is not publishing specs to make any kind of informed decision.
